Document Word Count

Sometimes when you've written a document or an article it is helpful to know how many words it contains.

Here's how to find the word count in your document.

Open Office & Word 2000/XP/2003

For all of these programs, click on File, then Properties and then Statistics.

Word 2007

In Word 2007, the word count is displayed at the bottom left of your screen.
